“Our Pronouns Are USA”: Middle School Students Rebel Against Pride Celebration Being Forced on Them

Last week, students at a Massachusetts middle school revolted against pride celebrations. Yes, THAT Massachusettes. The blue-state Massachusettes. 71.5% of the people voting Democrat in the last presidential election Massachusetts.

While the school board is pushing back and demanding more diversity training for parents, some parents are defending their children. As one mother said of her child who took part in the patriotic dissent after a straight-shaming Tennese Wiliams quote was posted all over the school and she was made to feel coerced into participating in the Pride festivities.

Some of the kids through stickers on the ground. But I can only speak to my daughter, she just didn’t want to wear that to school. My daughter said, “[That quote claiming no one is straight] is offensive to me because I am straight.”

Related, there was also a Massachusetts middle school student who was told he could not wear a “there are two genders” shirt. His peers didn’t mind. The teachers and administrators were offended.
