In a recent exclusive interview, former President Donald Trump shared his thoughts on potential Democratic presidential candidates with Tucker Carlson.
Carlson began streaming content on Elon Musk’s X platform after Fox News terminated him.
Trump imitated Vice President Kamala Harris during his interview with Carlson, which caused the host to laugh.
Discussing the potential Democratic candidates for the upcoming presidential race, especially if President Joe Biden does not run, Trump remarked on Vice President Harris’ public appearances.
“She has some bad moments,” Trump told Carlson. “Her moments are almost as bad as his.”
“I think his are worse,” Trump added, referring to Biden.
“She seems pretty senile too,” Carlson interjected.
The former president segued from Harris to another topic before Carlson asked him to be more specific concerning his remarks about Harris.
“She speaks in rhyme. It’s weird. … Well, the way she talks,” Trump said.
Carlson asked, “In rhyme?” with evident amusement.
“The bus will go here and then the bus will go there!” he chanted in imitation of the vice president. “Because that’s what buses do!’”
The 45th president repeated his claim that her behavior and speaking style seemed weird, adding she does not present herself as someone likely to become a future president.
He told Carlson it is very likely that Biden will be primaried and maybe lose the presidential nomination to another Democrat.
Robert Kennedy Jr. was not mentioned, but Carlson wondered if Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) would be a strong contender for the Democratic Party nomination.
Trump agreed Newsom may do well despite his record. He noted that today’s political climate does not penalize politicians with bad records the way it used to.
He said Newsom is a good looking guy who speaks well, which may help him overcome the problems the nation associates with his state.
