Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban told President Trump to “keep fighting” in a tweet he posted on Monday morning, just ahead of when President Trump was scheduled to board a flight from Florida to New York City, where he is set to be booked Tuesday on politicized charges filed by Soros-funded Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg.
“Keep on fighting, Mr. President!” Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban wrote in the tweet he dedicated to Trump. “We are with you,” Orban added before tagging the 45th President’s famous @realDonaldTrump Twitter handle.
President Trump reposted Prime Minister Orban’s well wishes to Truth Social, his free speech Twitter alternative, after leaving his Mar-a-Lago home in Florida to fly to New York and turn himself into the authorities as he stares down charges from Soros-funded DA Alvin Bragg.
For years now, Orban and the Hungarian patriot movement have been supportive of President Trump, as Orban has led actions in his own country to take down the international left. Among other things, Orban has banned George Soros, who was born to a Jewish family in Hungary before collaborating with the Third Reich and sending his own people off to concentration camps, from entering the nation.
The political positioning of Orban and his allies could be compared to a “Hungary First” version of the “America First” movement.
President Trump also received well wishes on his way to New York City from a massive crowd of American Patriots, who lined the streets in order to see him off and show their support.
“Unbelievable support for miles as we depart to New York!” President Trump’s son, Eric, posted on Twitter as he accompanied his father to the airport.
