Republican Colorado Rep. Lauren Boebert officially won her reelection bid against Democrat Adam Frisch, following a weeks-long recount.
Boebert, a member of the Freedom Caucus, ultimately defeated Frisch by 551 votes, Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold announced Monday night. Frisch did not contest the recount, telling supporters in November that the likelihood of him winning was “very, very small.” Colorado state law mandates a recount if the margin of an election is less than 0.5%.
