Howard Stern received a severe tongue-lashing from former President Trump, who described the progressive radio DJ as “a broken weirdo, unattractive internally as well as externally, attempting like hell to seem relevant.”
In a post this week on Truth Social, President Trump criticized Stern for becoming a “woke” campaigner, which made many of his fans dislike him because they liked him more as a shock jock.
“The real Howard Stern is a weak, pitiful, and dishonest person who has lost MOST of his fans and friends,” Trump remarked.
“After he went woke, no one cares about him anymore; I did his show a lot back in those good old days,” he went on. “Stern no longer has any power, and without that, he has nothing.”
He also said, “Just a broken weirdo, ugly on the inside and out, attempting like hell to be important.”
In the latest episode of his Sirius XM program, Stern said again that he is woke.
He stated, “I’m a woke, motherfucker, and I actually love it!”
“Oh, and by the way, I kind of like being told I’m woke. Please feel free to refer to me as woke if it signifies that I oppose Trump, as I believe it to imply, or that I favor transgender individuals or the vaccination.”
Stern made fun of Trump fans on his show this past year by calling them “morons.” As he talked about the current investigation into classified documents found at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort, he made up a story that the former president stole secret government documents from the White House “in order to conduct business with Russia as well as Saudi Arabia.”
Stern threw more insults at Trump in 2021, teasing a run for president in 2024. He said, “I could never lose.”
On the other hand, the radio host’s severe anxiety over the coronavirus seems to have ended any hopes of running for office. Stern is known for telling hospitals not to look after people who hadn’t gotten a COVID-19 vaccine. He recently claimed that his crippling anxiety regarding this virus has made things difficult between him and his wife.
“Last night, my wife screamed at me. We had a fight,” he said. “You know how scared I am of getting COVID… For now, I’m just telling you how scared I am.”
