Former Democrat Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard recently appeared on Fox News to discuss the anti-semitism and “Islamist terrorist apologists” within the Democratic party.
Gabbard’s comments came during a discussion recapping the historic pro-Israel rally in Washingon, D.C. when tens of thousands of Israel supporters gathered in protest of Hamas and chanted “never again,” a phrase referencing the Holocaust.
“It is terrible, but sadly it doesn’t surprise me. Go back to Ilhan Omar’s statement about 9/11 as a day when some people did some things,” Gabbard said. “There’s a group of people within Congress who are blatantly Islamist terrorist apologists.”
“That shouldn’t surprise any of us, they have made themselves known,” she added. “What should be surprising and disturbing is to the American people is how many people in my former party, the Democrat Party, which is one of the reason I left, are also Islamist apologist or who are so afraid to be labeled Islamophobic, they won’t stand up and say what is necessary to speak the truth about the threat of Islamist terrorist whether its Hamas, Al-Qaeda, Hezbollah, ISIS and Al-Shabaab, and other groups pose to freedom and people loving people everywhere.”
