Former President Donald Trump’s health is “excellent,” according to a new report from his personal physician, Dr. Bruce A. Aronwald, with the Morristown Medical Group.
The former president shared Aronwald’s medical report letter on Truth Social Monday, providing transparency for U.S. voters as he continues to campaign for president in next year’s highly anticipated election.
Mollie Hemingway, editor-in-chief at The Federalist, also tweeted a copy of a medical report from Trump’s personal physician, stating, “Former President Trump releases note on his health from his doctor today.”

Aronwald introduced his medical report on the 45th president by noting that he has served as Trump’s personal physician since 2021. Aronwald shared that over the course of his time as Trump’s personal doctor, he has completed multiple “comprehensive examinations” of the 77-year-old Republican presidential candidate, has conducted “ancillary testing” for health screening and preventative health maintenance, and has supervised specialist consultations.
Trump’s personal physician noted that his last comprehensive examination of the former president took place on Sept. 13.
“I am pleased to report that President Trump’s overall health is excellent,” Aronwald wrote. “His physical exams were well within the normal range and his cognitive exams were exceptional. In addition, his most recent extensive laboratory analysis remains well within normal limits and was even more favorable than prior testing in some of the most significant parameters, most likely secondary to weight reduction.”
Trump’s personal physician explained that all of the former president’s cardiovascular studies were normal and all of the cancer screening tests were negative. Additionally, Aronwald shared that the leading Republican candidate in the GOP primary has “reduced his weight” by combining an “improved diet” with “continued daily physical activity,” in addition to the “rigorous schedule” Trump is following on the campaign trail.
Aronwald concluded, “It is my opinion that President Trump is currently in excellent health, and with his continued interest in preventative health monitoring and maintenance, he will continue to enjoy a healthy active lifestyle for years to come.”
