Tucker Carlson Says Boris Johnson Demanded $1 Million For an Interview

As we previously highlighted, Johnson responded to the Putin interview by releasing a short clip attacking Tucker for talking to the Russian president.

“Around the world people are watching that ludicrous interview with Vladimir Putin conducted by Tucker Carlson,” he said.

“And we must not fall for this tissue of lies, above all the notion that Putin is somehow fated to succeed in Ukraine, on the contrary, he is doomed to fail,” he added.

Tucker responded by offering Johnson the exact same platform to say his piece, but Boris demanded a ridiculous fee.

“So I’m over in Moscow, I’m waiting to do this interview, it gets out that we’re doing it, and I’m immediately denounced by this guy called Boris Johnson,” Carlson said. “And Boris Johnson calls me ‘a tool of the Kremlin’ or something … so I put in a request for an interview with [Johnson], because he’s constantly denouncing me.”

“Finally an adviser gets back to me and said, ‘He will talk to you, but it’s going to cost you a million dollars.’ He wants a million in U.S. dollars, gold or bitcoin – this just happened yesterday or two days ago!” Tucker told Glenn Beck.

“Then he will explain his position on Ukraine. So he attacks me without explaining how I’m wrong, of course, or how he’s right – this is the guy, by the way, who at the request of the U.S. government, stopped the peace deal in Ukraine a year and a half ago, and is for that reason responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people.”

“I said, ‘I just interviewed Vladimir Putin – I’m not defending Putin, but [he] didn’t ask me for a million dollars!’ So you’re telling me that Boris Johnson is a lot sleazier, a lot lower than Vladimir Putin. So this whole thing is a freaking shakedown.”

During an interview conducted in November last year, David Arahamiya, the leader of Ukraine’s ruling party, revealed that Johnson had scuppered a peace deal that would have put an end to hostilities just a few months after the Russian invasion.

Putin confirmed this during his interview with Carlson, remarking, “He had fixed his signature to some of the provisions, not to all of it. He put his signature and then he himself said, we were ready to sign it, and the war would have been over long ago. 18 months ago. However, Prime Minister Johnson came, talk to us out of it and we missed that chance. Well, you missed it. You made a mistake.”

Boris has not only exposed himself to be a shameless warmonger, but also a duplicitous and greedy cretin.
